Kuantan & Terengganu trip

Maybe it was the timing we went on this trip somehow or rather it wasn't really fun. Besides the fact that it was an eating trip which wasn't really my type, all places we planned to visit are closed. We are lucky enough because Alor Akar Seafood Restaurant in Kuantan is still open. It is famous with its beggar chicken. Their business is really good, we went twice but not having the luck to try the beggar chicken but we tried other food which was good as well. We also tried "东莞鸭面" in Kuantan, apparently it wasn't really special though. Sadly, Satay Zul and Ana Ikan Bakar are both closed. We didn't manage to try the famous curry mee because of long queue. One thing good in Kuantan and Terengganu, expenses are cheap!

In Kemaman,Terengganu, it was totally a dead city! Even A&W declared self holiday, they took half day off. We went a few rounds and found a restaurant opened in the morning. That row of restaurants are famous with their stuffed crab which is fairly good. They are facing the sea, you will find a few restaurants selling the same thing.

Since there was nothing much in Terengganu so we move on to Cherating and hopefully the Turtle Sanctuary is open but unfortunately it was closed. Please bear in mind it is closed on Monday and Public Holidays, don't repeat our mistake. Cherating is a nice and cozy beach, consider going there just for holiday and relax its a great beach.

On our way back to Petaling Jaya we were searching for lemang, keropok lekor and satar, some tradisional Malay food. Ironically, nothing can be found even in the Malay town. In fact there was plenty of durians but we didn't stop by to buy though my sister and I were hoping to get a bite of it. We stop by at Restaurant 126 Bukit Tinggi to have our dinner. We always love this restaurant food is nice and price is reasonable.

Our journey ended with the lovely dinner. There was a little surprise on that day because my dad brought back one durian. I was so excited, the durian was fantastically nice!
