Summary of January and February

My first run of the year in Malaysia was 1st March. I used to begin my running journey with Multi Purpose Run but this year I did not. The fun part is it's Running With Stars, it's HK TVB actors and actresses. My colleague manage to get free bibs so here I am otherwise I'll just sit back and wait for my Viper Challenge.

During my run back in HK in January I didn't manage to bump into any celebrity although there are plenty of them running in the same event. Talking about the run in HK, it was smooth and nice. I assumed it was due to the cooling weather that makes me breath better and therefore showing great performance. My time was 1:02:29, well it's still not less than an hour but it's my best time so far. I guess I need to skip water stations to finish within an hour which is kinda hard for me cause I really need water.

As for my HK/Macau trip, it was indeed awesome. Awesome as in gaining a different view and perspective in my personal thoughts. It is indeed correct with the Chinese saying "读万卷书,不如行万里路" meaning knowledge from books doesn't teach as good as travelling. Although it is only Hong Kong but I've contrast it against Malaysia from the perspective of technology, human, culture and feeling. The most unique part of Malaysia is that it consists of multicultural races and this is also the biggest weakness of the country. If you're wise enough to notice, every race have their own culture which they think is correct in their own sense. Because of this, between races there will be criticism due to different views, there's no right or wrong, just different perspective. For Hong Kong, a country once ruled by British for 156 years, have well adopted British's ruling ideas and sense of acquiring technology for improvement both for the country and man. With the same culture and race (and less laziness I must say), they face less issues in rolling out government enforcements compared to Malaysia. Ask yourself, who are ones in your office that tends to rest more than work? It has nothing to do with racist, it's just our culture which in our sense are not wrong. To me, any skin colour doesn't matter as long as we work together for the same aim and I love that feeling of collaboration, it feels really warm.

Honestly, my personal opinion for Macau is it's not too special for those who doesn't gamble. It is a relaxed place where it's suitable for retirement. Have been curious of the Ruin of St. Paul's all this while, I finally have a chance to touch it. The daytime view with the awesome sunlight was great

Overall, I like this trip and the weather though it was too cold for me. After coming back from Macau, the next trip was Singapore. Singapore is quite similar to Malaysia in terms of people and weather. The only different thing is the government of Singapore made this place an extremely great place to live. I asked myself, between HK, Malaysia and Singapore, where would I choose to live my life. I love HK but it's not a place for me to stay, so my answer is Singapore. I love Malaysia somehow but sad to say it's too corrupted that made me feel disgusted. Of course, Singapore's education is way better than Malaysia. I think my plan of running plus travelling is kinda good because as long as I want to run I will move my ass to that country instead of letting it mingle only in my mind. It became actions which will somehow turn out to be something good, I mean look at things in a positive manner I assure you it won't go wrong *wink*

 Marina Bay Sands

Went drinking with some friends (boss's friend actually), that place has a lot of supercars!
